Tila is an 11YO beautiful Chow Chow, who presented for a fast growing mammary mass. Her mom was concerned that the mass had grown so quickly in size. Upon exam, we found her mass to be quite large and uncomfortable. We scheduled her for surgery and removed the mammary mass and spayed her at the same time to decrease the risk of future mammary growths and prevent pyometra. Her mass came back as benign and completely excised! She was cured. We want to wish her the best and a long healthy life! Thank you for entrusting us with her care! ❤️ #veterinarymedicine #chowchowlovers #spayneuter #veterinarian #veterinariansofinstagram #bipoc #dogsofinstagram

Nala is a 10 year old sweetest teddy bear who presented to us for a pyometra. She was diagnosed at an emergency clinic and was referred to our clinic for accessible surgery. Upon exam, we found that she also had mammary tumors. We added her surgery to our schedule the same day and Dr. Tracy Huang performed her emergency spay and removed her mammary masses. Her family was so happy to have her back healthy. We wish Nala the best of luck! She was the bestest girl and we hope you feel 100% soon! #veterinarymedicine #pyometra #pitbullsofinstagram #spayneuter #veterinarian #veterinariansofinstagram #bipoc #dogsofinstagram #seniordogsofinstagram

Muffin is a 10 week old micro baby chi! He came to us last week for vaccines, but his mom brought him back urgently because he was crying whenever he needed to defecate and was vomiting for the past 3 days. Upon exam, we found him to have an inguinal hernia. His hernia was big enough to have his abdominal contents slip through the hernia. On X-rays we found him to have eaten bones that was stuck in his colon! We anesthetized him for surgical repair of his hernia, neuter, and manual removal of the bone from his colon. His mom has no idea where Muffin found the bone. However, she said she’s going to watch him like a hawk moving forward since she now knows he’s naughty around bones! Muffin is very lucky to not have his intestines rip or have a blockage from the bones he ate. Muffin and his mom were so thankful and we’re so happy we could help him the same day. Thank you to our rockstar staff for going above and beyond!❤️ #veterinarymedicine #chihuahuasofinstagram #spayneuter #veterinarian #veterinariansofinstagram #bipoc #dogsofinstagram #puppiesofinstagram
